Vacancy for Service Technician

QBTEC is Europe's largest manufacturer of professional cooking and frying equipment. It is the umbrella organisation for 6 leading brands: Kiremko, Perfecta, Smitto, Qook!,, Adieu and Hifri. At our facility in Woerden, we create total solutions for a specific situation faced by our customers.

We seek Service Technicians for the following regions: North Brabant, Central Netherlands and the East of the Netherlands. You work in a team of 12 colleagues and, after an introductory period, you will independently provide service to our customers in your own region.

What does your day as a Service Technician look like?

As a Service Technician, each new day is different. You drive in your own fully equipped service van to different customers in the hospitality industry. For example, a corner takeaway, a fish stall at the Wednesday afternoon market or a Michelin star restaurant such as De Burgemeester in Linschoten. You spend your days performing service tasks and troubleshooting and repairing faults in fryers, extractor systems and other products in QBTEC's product range. You also carry out planned annual maintenance and coordinate the installation of new systems. Depending on your knowledge and experience, project supervision may also be included in the tasks associated with your position. You go the extra mile to satisfy the customer.

What do your tasks include?

Your package of tasks includes:

• Troubleshooting faults.
• Performing corrective and preventive maintenance.
• Identifying problems in good time and anticipating imminent breakdowns in (fryer) equipment.
• Performing repairs or replacing parts.

• You have a valid B/E driving licence.
• You are commercially minded and aware of what the customer finds important.
• Your appearance is representative and you have good communication skills.
• You have an excellent command of Dutch.
• You are inventive and flexible.
• You have a secondary vocational education certificate (MBO) to level 3 or 4 in electrical engineering and/or in mechanical engineering.
